The year is 2021. Deep beneath the ocean's surface lies a vast, incredibly high-tech compound: Sealab. A multinational scientific station with an annual budget in the trillions, staffed by a motley crew of misfits and screw-ups who were deemed unfit for work in the private sector. They hardly accomplish any research, instead spending their time bickering among themselves or just goofing off. The crew has manipulated their hapless leader, Captain Murphy, into submission and are content to ride the government clock, cashing in on hefty, hazardous-duty paychecks.
