Schitt's Creek focuses on the life of a wealthy family that suddenly loses everything. The Rose family owns the country's most popular video rental company. Living in luxury, they have everything they could ever want. However, when the partner of the company disappears without paying taxes, their lives are turned upside down. When the government seizes everything the Rose family owns, they find themselves on the streets. The only thing they have left is a town called Schitt's Creek. Forced to start over from scratch here, the family tries to make the town appealing in hopes of regaining their former lifestyle.
