Our story revolves around 27-year-old Arata Kaizaki. After resigning from his first job just 3 months in, he becomes a complete jobless person who can't pass any interviews. His life changes with a drug given to him by Ryo Yoake from the ReLIFE (New Life) Research Laboratory, which transforms his appearance to that of a 17-year-old. Now, he must return to high school as a test subject for a year.
