Real Sex is a documentary television series that aired on HBO. As its name suggests, Real Sex is a sexually explicit "magazine" that "explores sex '90s style." Real Sex delves into human sexuality, covering everything from the latest sexual trends to casual sex festivals and the home production of adult films. Each episode typically features three to four topics, with segments interspersed with street interviews of random individuals related to the episode's themes. Episodes of the show investigate RealDolls, "Swingstock," a cunnilingus seminar, a perpetual sex machine for women, and lovemaking in chocolate. The last episode of Real Sex aired in 2009. Older episodes and "best-of" compilations are frequently re-aired during late-night slots on HBO. It led to a spin-off series called Pornucopia.
