Persecuted (Mauricio Islas) José Vicente Solís Armenta is a criminal pursued by justice for his crimes against humanity. After being betrayed, the authorities finally manage to track him down and want him dead or alive. As Solís Armenta attempts to escape, he must confront his wife, whom he cheated on, one of his lovers who seeks to kill him, and a bodyguard who seems to be falling for his charms. Faced with this dire scenario, José Vicente declares an all-out war against the authorities, but he soon realizes that the real battle is against himself and perhaps, the only path to redemption is death. This is the Mexican version of the Colombian series 'El capo'.
