Set in 1896, 'Payitaht – Abdülhamid' will bring to the screen significant events that marked the era from the 20th year of Sultan Abdulhamid's reign. The series will feature a war that ended in victory for the Ottoman Empire after a long time: the 'Greek War.' The first Zionist Congress and the lands of Palestine requested from the Sultan will be depicted as a period where the Sultan never yielded until his end, and the enemy left the table in defeat. Another significant project where the Sultan succeeded, the Hejaz Railway works, along with other important historical events, will also be included in the series. Promising to be a gift to the descendants of a strong nation that has carried its struggle to the present alongside Sultan Abdulhamid Khan, the series will present its main theme message, 'Struggle!' to the audience.
