Pa a Pi is an animated educational TV show that depicts the adventures of extraterrestrial cats Pa and Pi during their visit to Earth. The show was created from 1986 to 1989 and consists of animated and live-action sequences. Each episode features a different animal. The show was designed by Miroslav Duša, animated by Dalimil Koutek, and directed by Miroslav Sobota, Dalimil Koutek (animated part), and Václav Pavel Borovička. The title song was written by Karel Svoboda and sung by Marika Gombitová in the Slovak version. The show was produced at the Prométheus Ostrava studio in collaboration with the German company GOLD-FILM GmbH Pforzheim.
