This story follows the adventures of Mowgli, a human foundling raised by Akela's wolf pack, along with his best friends, the fatherly bear Baloo and the playful panther Bagheera. They reside in the Indian jungle, where numerous dangers lurk, including the formidable Bengal tiger Shere Khan. The curious Mowgli often finds himself in trouble and cannot resist helping animals in peril or solving other dilemmas.
