Kisaragi Amatsuyu is invited out alone by the stunning Cosmos and her childhood friend Himawari. Expecting to hear confessions, Amatsuyu goes on a series of dates as if victorious. However, both of them reveal that they have feelings for Amatsuyu's friend. While Amatsuyu fights a lonely battle, a bespectacled and gloomy girl is actually interested in him. He despises this girl who needles him at every opportunity and revels in his troubles. Yet, it seems that the only person who likes him is this gloomy girl.
