Kenji Fujikido is a salaryman whose wife and child were killed in a ninja turf war. In a near-death experience, Fujikido becomes possessed by an enigmatic ninja spirit known as Naraku Ninja. He cheats death and transforms into "Ninja Slayer" - a Grim Reaper destined to eliminate evil ninjas, driven by a personal quest for vengeance. Set in the dystopian underworld of Neo-Saitama, Ninja Slayer battles the Soukai Syndicate ninjas in deadly confrontations.
