The series depicts life through the eyes of a little girl named Ningning. Born on a secluded island called Isla Baybay, Ningning grew up living a simple life with her father Dondon, her mother Lovely, and her grandmother Mamay. As a fisherman, Dondon barely earns enough to make ends meet, but the constant support and love of his family make him feel like the richest man in the world. Through their love for one another, every day in Ningning's life seems happy and fulfilling. However, fate takes a turn when a powerful typhoon ravages the island and destroys the boat that Dondon relies on for his livelihood. This forces the family to move to the city in search of a better life. Despite facing numerous challenges in their new urban life, Ningning and her family demonstrate that with hope, perseverance, and the love of family and friends, anything is possible. Through Ningning's eyes, the world is seen with an innocent perspective filled with beautiful relationships, second chances, forgiveness, and love.
