When Rüya Kıran set out from her home in Berlin towards Syria that morning, she had already accepted the possibility of death. That same morning, it was the day Yusuf Alacan, who had left his family saying, 'I won't come back,' would return to Antakya, his father's home, for the first time in six years. On that day, a smuggling convoy attempting to cross from Yusuf's land into Syria was caught, and Selma Çelik, an agent from the intelligence agency, is on the trail of a notorious international smuggler known as Atmaca. That evening, the paths of Yusuf and Rüya cross at the Syrian border. Rüya is meeting with Boran to cross over, while Yusuf has come to rescue his kidnapped father due to issues on the land. As Yusuf pulls the trigger, all hell breaks loose. Boran takes Yusuf's father hostage, and Yusuf takes Rüya hostage in return for his father. What neither of them knows is that the owner of the convoy, the international smuggler known as Atmaca, is actually Rüya's father, Ayaz Kıran, a beloved restaurant owner in Berlin.
