Carolina is married to a man who commits fraud and blames her, prompting her to flee with her son. The only solution Carolina can think of at that moment is to visit her twin sister, Celeste, who is a nun. The only option she offers is for them to switch places, allowing Carolina to go to the location where Celeste will be sent. This leads her to the town of Monteverde, a place dominated by men due to Óscar León, who, after his wife left him, harbors deep resentment towards women and refuses to employ them. There, Father Gabriel and Sister Celeste gather a group of women to live there and transform the town's dynamics.
