Fashion King tells the story of Lee Ga-young, a talented tailor who is unjustly accused of arson and kicked out of her home. Kang Young-geol owns a small clothing store that produces counterfeit designer clothes. When Young-geol's former classmate and successful fashion entrepreneur Jeong Jae-hyuk refuses to lend him money, Young-geol vows to one day buy his company. However, Jae-hyuk is concerned about reuniting with his equally successful ex-girlfriend Choi Anna. Through a series of events, the four of them meet once again on the other side of the world in New York. The fates of these aspiring designers are intertwined in a story about new challenges, competition, success, and love.
