Despite being married for six years, Maryam, who has no children, struggles to get along with her mother-in-law. Nasiba attempts to drive a wedge between her and her son, Azer. During an argument, Azer raises his hand at Maryam, prompting her to leave and seek refuge with her brother Ilgar. Ilgar’s wife, Valida, tries to keep Maryam away from their home. Nasiba convinces Azer to divorce his wife. Although Azer initially resists his mother's wishes, he ultimately decides to go through with the divorce due to the unfolding events. Nuray, who loves Azer, teams up with Nasiba to set a trap for Maryam.
