Preparations for the event are underway. Frank Sinatra will perform on stage at this gathering attended by thousands of distinguished guests. However, Ike Evans, the owner of Miramar Playa, faces numerous problems. Frustrated by a union strike, Evans has a shipment of liquor delayed due to the strike that hasn't arrived at the hotel. Additionally, the beloved musician Frank Sinatra is reluctant to perform because of the strike. For the sake of Miramar Playa's reputation and future, this invitation must go smoothly.
