Live & Kicking was a BBC Saturday morning children's magazine program that aired from 1993 to 2001. The fourth in a series of Saturday morning shows, it replaced Going Live! and incorporated many of its features, such as phone-ins, games, comedy, competitions, and the airing of cartoons. Once Live & Kicking became established in its second series, it reached peak popularity during its fourth series, when it was hosted by Zoë Ball and Jamie Theakston; their final episode won a BAFTA award. After this, the series' ratings declined with the launch of SMTV Live on ITV and was eventually canceled in 2001.
