Liebling Kreuzberg was a television series on ARD that aired for five seasons with a total of 58 episodes from 1986 to 1998. The scripts for seasons one through three and five were written by Jurek, while his friend Manfred Krug portrayed the quirky Berlin attorney Robert. The fourth season was penned by Ulrich Plenzdorf. The series was directed by Heinz Schirk, with Werner Masten and Vera Loebner also involved. The producing broadcasters were SFB, NDR, and WDR. The music for the first season was composed by Hans-Martin Majewski, and Klaus Doldinger took over in the later seasons.
