The new series on Fox, based on the popular film 'Lethal Weapon' starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, will be adapted and developed by Matt Miller. The cast of the Lethal Weapon series includes Clayne Crawford (Rectify, Rogue, 24), Damon Wayans (The Underground, My Wife and Kids), Keesha Sharp (American Crime Story), Jordana Brewster (American Crime Story, Dallas), Kevin Rahm (Bates Motel, Mad Men, Desperate Housewives), Chandler Kinney, and Johnathan Fernandez.
The plot of the Lethal Weapon series will depict Detective Murtaugh's struggle to manage all the stress in his life after suffering a minor heart attack. However, on this journey, his partner Riggs will not be much help, just like the criminals.
