They also wrote the scripts for the television series. The telenovela will debut soon on the Telefutura Network. The series premiered on May 3, 2010, after the Vecinos finale. The show concluded in July 2010 in the U.S. It tells the story of Brenda, Olivia, Violeta, Renata, and Pamela. They encounter trouble throughout the series as they get involved with some mafia members from "El Carmen" in Colombia. All of them meet tragic ends. Pamela immigrates to the United States to escape trouble and be close to her father, who was a pilot and ended up in jail after being caught by the DEA transporting cocaine to the U.S. on a plane, and she ends up as a maid but tells Brenda she is happy and living a great life. Olivia goes to jail for having a fake wedding with Braulio Bermudez and acquiring some of his properties. Violeta dies when the two opposing mafia factions are about to end their ongoing war. Renata also dies because she was forced by Erick to pay him money she owed by carrying drugs in her stomach to the United States, and none of her loved ones knew because she had no identification on her. Brenda ends up pregnant by Braulio, whom she never sees again because he was taken to a U.S. jail. This is a very exciting story to watch, showing how an easy life is never a good choice—it might seem nice and easy at first, but eventually, everything comes to an end.
