Wilhelm separates from his unit. Charlotte is devastated when her Nazi ideology leads her to betray a Jewish nurse helping the German army. Greta sells herself to an SS officer to ensure Viktor's escape. Millions have wanted to be heroes like them, but none have considered what the war could do to them.
