The legendary basketball team of Teikou Middle School gained fame as the "Miracle Team" for defeating all rivals and winning championships. However, with the end of middle school and the start of high school, the team disbanded, and each member went to different high schools. One of the team members, Tetsuya Kuroko, has started attending Seirin High School. Joining the basketball team here, Kuroko surprises everyone with his lack of talent despite being a member of the Miracle Team.
