Red Carnations tells the story of Levent (Özcan Deniz), a secular Atatürkist, and Meryem (Özgü Namal), who lives within a conservative sect, as their fates intertwine. Despite their differences in beliefs and opinions, it highlights the unifying power of motherhood and fatherhood when it comes to the word "child."
