With her masculine character, she has managed to intimidate everyone in the village, including her husband. Burhan, the son of the village musician Bekir, is in love with Kezban's daughter, Sülbiye. One day, Bekir knocks on Kezban's door to ask for Sülbiye's hand. But Kezban drives them away and declares that she will never give her daughter to them. In response, Bekir composes a folk song to mock Kezban and sings it at a wedding where Kezban is present. Kezban becomes furious about this and starts plotting her revenge. Running for the village head in the upcoming election, Kezban wins against Bekir. Bekir, unable to accept this situation, begins to sabotage Kezban's actions.
