After graduating from this boarding school, where she spent ten years of her life, she begins working as a teacher under the same roof. Eventually, she takes on the role of governess to a girl named Adelé at the estate of Edward Rochester (Toby Stephens). As Jane Eyre encounters Mr. Rochester, she realizes she has fallen in love with him after a growing friendship. However, it is still too early for Jane Eyre to rejoice, believing she has found the happiness she has been searching for. Will this happiness, which she thinks will last forever, be shattered by Mr. Rochester's terrible secret?
