Ira is a rebellious 30-year-old Muscovite who disregards the rules and principles of modern society. Throughout the season, she easily breaks the fourth wall and openly shares her concerns with the audience. The topics for contemplation and introspection vary widely: from mortgages and late-night trips to the fridge to cleaning her apartment and the effect of feminine hygiene products on the seal population. And the seals would be just fine. Ira's personal life isn't going smoothly either. She's dating the hysterical screenwriter Sergei, but her fiery temperament often keeps them from being together all the time, leading to frequent arguments.
