Cemal, who lives in one of Adana's poor neighborhoods, tries to support his entire family by working as a waiter. His desperation in searching for a way out grows even more with the death of his seriously ill father. He is not yet aware that this painful event will change his life drastically. Before taking his last breath, his father tells Cemal that he has a wealthy uncle in Istanbul. Learning that he has a rich relative deeply shakes Cemal, who grew up in poverty. When his uncle, Sami Gökdemir, one of the country's prominent businessmen, appears and promises his nephew a share of their wealth, Cemal becomes even more confused. His mother, Hülya, wants to keep her son away from Sami and his surroundings due to long-standing grudges and unresolved wounds from the past. However, Cemal's life has already taken an irreversible path. Despite all of his mother's attempts to obstruct him, Cemal, unable to escape his fate, will have to accept his uncle's offer. Stepping into a brand new world in Istanbul, Cemal will not be able to stop himself from falling in love with Suna, who is engaged to his cousin, while trying to prove himself to the Gökdemir family and will get lost in entirely different dreams. However, the sins that relentlessly pursue him will soon shatter his hopes into pieces. A challenging and uncertain journey has now begun for Cemal.
