It is also known as the first HD drama ever broadcast on Formosa TV. It stars Chen Meifeng, Morning Chang, Peng Chia-chia, Jimmy Ni, Wang Shixian, Daisy Fong, Mike Lee, and Chiang Tsu-ping among others. Very little of the show actually takes place in a night market. Instead, the series focuses on several vendors at a night market whose children become friends and go their separate ways upon reaching adulthood. As the series gained popularity, the story was expanded to cover two generations of characters; the children from the first part are grown up in the second part, which began on April 7, 2010, and the theme song was changed to a dialect version.
