Mikako Kōda is an aspiring fashion designer attending Yazawa Art Academy in Tokyo, gradually building her clothing brand, Happy Berry. Having been childhood friends with her neighbor, Tsutomu Yamaguchi, since they were infants, Mikako reevaluates her once-platonic feelings for him when he suddenly gains popularity at school due to his resemblance to singer Ken Nakagawa and starts dating Mariko, a popular and attractive girl.
