After his defeat by Wong Fei-hung in a duel, Guangzhou’s top kung fu master Lui Kong contracts leprosy and secretly flees. Blaming Fei-hung for everything, Lui Ching-lung, who knows nothing about martial arts, is determined to avenge his father. Surprisingly, Fei-hung offers to teach Lui Ching-lung the famous kung fu system and encourages him to return for revenge once he has mastered all the martial arts techniques. When Fei-hung meets two siblings – Mok Kwai-lan and Yau Sam-shui – in a restaurant, and they are introduced to Ching-lung, it marks the start of a complex love polygon.
