A new building complex is constructed in Chinatown, and Bong Sam Bong opens his Chinese restaurant called “Gahwamansasung” there with great fanfare. However, Bong’s luck doesn’t last long after he has worked so hard from the ground up to finally launch his own restaurant. His married children all end up getting divorced, and now his own wife is also demanding a divorce. This show follows the drama-filled lives of Mr. Bong’s family as they manage “Gahwamansasung,” the largest Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. The family navigates a series of crises, and through understanding, they resolve their differences and lingering family issues. Despite their conflicts, they remain close as a family unit and gather together for a bowl of Chinese noodles during family dinners filled with love and laughter.
