The general director, Bin Ge, spent only a year in research, while the culture and traditions of the utensils and Mosuo people have been in the making for nearly three years, from exploration to investigation. The entire filming process lasted a year and a half, capturing everything from the plateau gorge to the bamboo sea in the basin, from the mysterious Mosuo style to the beautiful Tibetan girls, from the changes of the four seasons to the city's prosperity, all set after the reform and opening up, when Sichuan cuisine flourished. Many began to use culinary arts as a means of livelihood. The fates of these individuals are closely tied to the deliciousness of their creations. They inherit, explore, innovate, and bring new taste experiences through food, continually redefining the palate.
