The Queen of SOP is a Chinese-Taiwanese idol drama series produced by GTV and directed by Zhang Boyu. It stars actresses Joe Chen, Zhang Meng, and Jiang Yi, along with actors Godfrey Gao and Zhang Han in the lead roles. The show first aired on the Chinese TV network Hunan Television before debuting on the Taiwanese TV network FTV on October 14, 2012. It will take over FTV's and GTV's slot for Once Upon a Love, which will air its final episode on October 7 and October 13, 2012, respectively.
