Kimba is a young, ambitious lion cub who takes his father's place as emperor of the jungle after his father is killed by poachers. Despite his father's fate at the hands of humans, Leo is one of the few animals in the jungle who does not fear or harbor hatred toward humans. He is not alone; he is guided by his father's friends to help create the best animal kingdom possible.
