Seventeen-year-old Onohara Asami is a sweet, second-year high school student. No one knows that she is actually married to her 25-year-old physics teacher, Ichimaru Kyousuke (Danna-sama). Alongside her responsibilities as a student, she must manage the household and keep her marriage a secret at school. Balancing these challenges daily is far from easy for Asami, especially with the complications brought by her well-meaning but nosy best friends; her overprotective and intrusive father Iwao; the kind teacher Iwasaki, who unexpectedly falls for Asami's husband; and the quite charming next-door neighbor Sakura Mizunosaki.
