House Husbands centers around four families with one thing in common: the husbands stay home to raise the children. Firass Dirani plays a fallen AFL hero, struggling under the weight of family life. As he faces the possibility of losing the ability to see his two twin boys (of primary school age) and his eight-month-old daughter, he receives an offer to play football again in Perth. He turns down the offer made by his former manager, who is now in a relationship with his ex-wife.
