In "Hot oder Schrott - Die Allestester," Detlef Steves and his wife Nicole receive new products from around the world, which they must put to the ultimate test. To make the evaluations more objective, in addition to the Steves, four other families of different compositions participate in each episode, testing the sometimes useful, sometimes bizarre products ranging from pedal-less bicycles to inflatable hot tubs and window cleaning robots.
