Georgian filmmaker and political activist Goga Khaindrava has completed work on the documentary TV series titled Herocratia, which addresses prisoner torture and other government crimes against the population during the nine years Mikheil Saakashvili's National Movement governed the country. Former political prisoners also attended the premiere of the new series, which will air on Imedi and GDS starting September 6. "The main idea of this film is for people to truly recognize the kind of disaster we endured," Khaindrava told reporters. "People don't realize the kind of hell some individuals experienced." The TV series consists of only 16 episodes, but Imedi TV has split the series and is broadcasting it in 2 seasons with 32 episodes.
