In this semi-mythological costume drama, Hercules, the son of Zeus by another woman, lives not as an Olympian after completing his labors and the journey of the Argonauts, but rejects immortality and continues to battle the evils of the world. He travels around Greece and beyond with Iolaus and sometimes the dangerous Salmoneus. Along the way, he constantly faces challenges. While many of these challenges are created by Hera, Hercules always triumphs, helping desperate mortals and continuing on to new adventures.
