16-year-old Amerie has drawn a map at school that highlights the pairs who dated the previous year. The emergence of this map causes her to be ostracized by her peers. Meanwhile, the school administration mandates that students with particularly active sex lives take a compulsory Sexual Literacy Course to regulate their lives. As Amerie and her new friends Quinni and Darren open themselves to love and sexuality, she also strives to restore her reputation at school.
