Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace is a dedicated police officer who has devoted his life to the job, but his career is currently at an all-time low. He’s obsessed with the disappearance of his beloved wife, Sandy, and is investigating long-forgotten cold cases with little hope of success. After receiving another reprimand for his unorthodox police methods, Grace is walking a tightrope in his career and risks being removed from the job he loves most.
