The King of the Flower Planet is on his deathbed, but his heir cannot ascend the throne until the legendary Seven Color Flower, a symbol of the King's power, is found. Angels Cateau and Noveau are dispatched to Earth to locate the Flower Girl, a young woman descended from both humans and Flower Angels (who once inhabited Earth long ago) - and they discover Lunlun in France. They persuade her to embark on a long journey to find the Flower - she will learn about the good and bad sides of humans and Flower Angels (embodied in the ambitious Togenishia and her sidekick Boris), and will fall in love with Serge Flora, a man who harbors a great secret.
