After Hiccup and Toothless defeat the Red Death and save their people, they lead the Vikings to make peace with dragons. However, Hiccup learns that the idea of coexistence is far from harmonious and that the dragons want to destroy this agreement. To address this issue, Hiccup's father, Stoick, establishes the Dragon Academy, where Hiccup and his friends will learn everything about dragons. Even grumpy skeptics like Mildew and villains like Alvin oppose them. The Viking youths and their dragons dedicate themselves to vital knowledge.
