Disenchantment takes place in the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland. Princess Bean, who has called off her wedding to Prince Guysbert, finds herself in a different world. Escaping from the wedding ceremony, the princess steps out of the palace to carve her own destiny in the real world. As Bean tries to figure out who she is, she embarks on various adventures with her elf friend Elfo and the demon inside her, Luci. This world, filled with fantastic creatures, includes monsters, genies, mythical beings, demons, trolls, walruses, and many foolish humans. The production, brought to life by Matt Groenling, the creator of The Simpsons, features a voice cast that includes Abbi Jacobson, Nat Faxon, Eric Andre, John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery.
