Crossbow follows the adventures of William Tell and is set in 14th-century Switzerland. William Tell and his son are captured by the tyrannical Gessler. As the Governor of Austria, Gessler aims to crush the Swiss uprising. After splitting an apple on his son's head with his crossbow, much to Gessler's dismay, nothing can halt William Tell's legendary strength and skill.
