The new series Constantine, adapted from DC Comics' horror comic Hellblazer, is set to premiere on NBC! Created by Daniel Cerone, one of the minds behind Dexter, and written by David S. Goyer, known for The Dark Knight series, the show features a cast that includes Matt Ryan (John Constantine), Harold Perrineau (Manny), Charles Halford (Chas), and Angelica Celaya (Zed). The series will center on John Constantine, who has the ability to recognize angels and demons that walk among humans, and will debut its first episode, "Non Est Asylum," on Friday, October 24. The Hellblazer comic was previously adapted for the big screen in 2005 by Francis Lawrence, with Keanu Reeves playing Constantine.
