Arif has just returned from serving a sentence in Henry Gurney for his past mistakes. He is a wise son and beloved by his mother, Aida. His younger brother, Yoyol, looks up to Arif as his idol. As children, he and his friends spent most of their time on a cliff in their village, earning them the nickname 'cliff boys'.
