Thirty years ago, fate led Pranas all the way to the Far East. A local wealthy man saved him when he was gravely injured, and his daughter falls in love with the young and charming foreigner. What happened to their love story? Neto, without consulting Bruto, decides to enroll in university to become an elementary school teacher. However, this noble goal is interrupted by unexpected news: according to doctors, Neto has an incurable disease. How will Neto react to this news, and what actions will his friend Bruto take?
