Evren Ergüven is a wealthy and ambitious man who owns many hotels. His wife Yıldız and their children Ateş and Su live a lavish life in Istanbul, while in Bodrum, where most of their hotels are located, he leads a secret life with another woman. This arrangement falls apart due to a series of poor decisions that lead to his rapid bankruptcy. The family is left with nothing but an old house inherited from Yıldız's father and half ownership of a small hotel in Bodrum. The Ergüven family must now abandon their luxurious lifestyle, move into that dilapidated house, and start anew with the small hotel.
