Manga follows Ashito Aoi, a third-grade middle school student living in Ehime. Ashito has a strong talent for soccer but tries to hide it. Due to his very honest personality, he inadvertently causes a disaster that creates a major setback for him. Later, Tatsuya Fukuya, a veteran player of the strong J-Club team Tokyo City Esperion and the coach of the club's youth team, crosses paths with Ashito. Tatsuya sees Ashito's talent and invites him to try out for the youth team in Tokyo.
